Coach Bruno is a former college & professional Soccer athlete. He is from Brazil where he grew up playing for Cruzeiro EC and his experience includes coaching in the college, high school & club level in Montgomery for the past 15 years. He has a master’s in Physical Education and multiple coaching licenses for Soccer & Futsal. Living in Montgomery since 2001, Resende developed a love for the River Region and the South. He also lived in Springfield, MA and Atlanta, GA during his pro Soccer career. He also conducted many Brazilian Soccer camps in Southern California and Colorado. Another big part of Bruno’s activities is traveling to Brazil multiple times during each year on Family, Soccer/Business and Mission trips. Bruno oversees all aspects of both FCM Outdoor Travel Soccer and Indoor Local Futsal programs and is involved in the coaching of all our teams. He runs a partnership Soccer program for Eastwood Christian School as well.
Bruno has bachelor’s degrees in Sports Management & Sports Leadership together with his master’s degree in Physical Education. He attended UFMG, Auburn University Montgomery and Faulkner University. He also has certifications in Strength and Conditioning, Sports Psychology, Refereeing and CPR. He is a certified K-12 teacher with multiple coaching certificates & licenses from UFMG, ENAF & USSF.
Bruno is fluent in English, Portuguese & Spanish and has worked with many international & domestic athletes on recruiting, camps, player development and exchange programs. Many players who have trained under coach Bruno and all FCM coaching staff have received college scholarships, MLS youth contracts, international signing and USA youth national team invites. Bruno has a passion to help athletes reach their next level of performance physically, technically & tactically through the most advanced youth development methodology worldwide: Brazilian Futsal and the unique Soccer style from Brazil & USA. The holistic player development on and off-the-field is also within Bruno’s coaching style.
Coach Bruno’s wife Brooke is also the FCM’s club Registrar and the Resende’s kids are Susana Joy (Zani) and Michael Bosco (Mikee)!

Coach Kyle has entered his sixth season as head coach of the Faulkner University men’s soccer program. Beard supports us with our Outdoor Men Soccer department oversight and is currently providing guidance to our College & Adult program establishment.
Kyle Beard is entering his sixth season as head coach of the men’s soccer program.
Beard led the Eagles to an overall record of 10-6 in 2016, the program’s second consecutive winning season and most wins in program history.
Beard started his coaching career in 1998 at the club level in Texas. After coaching club, high school, and semiprofessional Beard moved his family to Rwanda to work as a vocational missionary and as a coach with the Rwandan Football Federation, FERWAFA in 2006. He spent four years as the head coach of the women’s national team, as well as working as the director for Futsal and as an adviser for the men’s U-17 and U-20 national teams.
Beard started his college coaching career when he returned to the United States as the founding head coach of the men’s soccer program at Lubbock Christian University in 2009. He led LCU to an overall record of 31-16-8 in three seasons and took the Chaps to the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament in 2011 and again in 2012, when they fell in the championship game. His LCU players earned numerous individual honors, including NAIA All-American, SAC Player of Year, SAC Offensive Player of the Year, SAC Newcomer of the Year, and ten SAC All-Conference awards.
A native of Tyler, Texas, Beard earned a bachelor’s degree Lubbock Christian University in 2000. He also holds licenses and diplomas from the USSF, NSCAA(USC), ICA, and FA.
Beard married his wife Luz in 1996, and they have two children – Koen and Heaven!

Coach Gabi has entered his fourth season on the Faulkner University men’s soccer coaching staff. He is also into his first year as the Montgomery Academy High School Varsity Boys Head Coach. Queiroz assists coach Bruno with our Indoor Futsal and Outdoor Soccer program. Gabi coaches our FCM outdoor U13 & U16 Boys teams.
Queiroz started his coaching career as a student assistant coach at Faulkner in the spring of 2015. He was hired as the assistant men’s soccer coach at Alabama Christian Academy in January 2016, and returned to Faulkner in the summer of 2016 as the top assistant coach on the men’s soccer staff.
A native of Salvador, Brazil, he grew up playing a lot of Futsal! Queiroz was a two-year letterman as a midfielder on the Faulkner University men’s soccer team after two years playing in junior college. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Faulkner University in 2016.
Queiroz is recently married to Brittany Gregor, a Faulkner women’s soccer alum!

Coach Travis started playing soccer at the age of 6. He later played club soccer and was selected to be a part of the Alabama Olympic Development Program (ODP). His time in the ODP included a trip to Brazil where “he defeated a younger Bruno one on one (joke).” As much as he enjoyed playing soccer growing up, his passion for the sport has grown to a new level with the involvement of his two oldest children. Travis coaches our U10 Boys & U14 Girls outdoor teams while also helping Bruno with Futsal & Outdoor Events and Academy Development.
Jordan is US Soccer (ASA / USYS) and CPR certified. He has spent the last 7 years coaching various soccer teams in the area (ages 4 to 14). Other than spending time with his children, what motivates him the most as a coach is to help young people develop as players and, more importantly, as future young adults.
Coach Travis was born and raised in Montgomery. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Auburn University Montgomery and has served in the banking industry for over 23 years. He and his wife, Christle, have been married for 15 years. Chloe (12), Cole (9) and Truett (3) all enjoy playing and watching soccer. They love spending time together outdoors as a family and serving Christ and others in the community.

Coach Bob is a former Division 1 college soccer player. As a youth and college player, Bob was a goalkeeper and played with the Nevada State Select U-16 and U-19 teams and with the University of San Diego. His coaching experience has been at the youth and collegiate level and he has also coached in California, Nevada, Maryland and Virginia. In 2018 he was the Auburn Montgomery men’s soccer goalkeeper coach and this year Coach Bob is the goalkeeper coach for the Faulkner University women’s soccer team. Bob coaches the U-12 boys team, is the assistant coach for the U-18 girls team, and the club’s goalkeeper coach. He is a member of United Soccer Coaches and is currently also on the United Soccer Ethics Committee. Poling holds certificates and diplomas from the US Soccer Federation and United Soccer Coaches.
Bob is a retired US Navy Officer and settled in Montgomery following his retirement in 2015. During his time in the Navy, Coach Bob had the opportunity to watch and play soccer all over the world. Being able to establish a bond with men and women from other nations through soccer was one of the many great experiences of being in the Navy. He his motivated to share his experience with children and young adults and is excited about the prospects of developing first class soccer players and young adults of strong character.
Coach Bob is originally from Las Vegas, NV. He lives in Montgomery with his wife April, an Alabama native, and his two children. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of San Diego, a Master of Arts in Naval History from the American Military University and a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the Air War College.

Coach Pritchard is entering his second season at the Faulkner University Lady Eagles Soccer Team. Ndaira is a familiar face around Faulkner, having played for the men’s soccer team from 2012 to 2014. The former all-Southern States Athletic Conference goalkeeper led the league in saves per game his last three seasons. The Triangle, Zimbabwe, native tallied 323 saves over three seasons, averaging 6.6 stops per contest.
Ndaira was also a three-time all-academic team member and earned a conference Defensive Player of the Week honor his senior year. After graduating he pursued coaching opportunities at George Washington Carver High School and Mountain Brook High School where he served as assistant coach in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Ndaira also worked with the Alabama Olympic Development Program as a goalkeeper coach and the Alabama Elite Player Development Program as a head coach. He has also coached with the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club and Crank Soccer.
Ndaira earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Faulkner in 2015. He is married to the former Nicole Berryman who was a goalkeeper for the Lady Eagles for four seasons as well. Coach Pritchard assists Bruno on our Outdoor Women Soccer department oversight and, together with Bob, he coaches our U16/U18 Girls team.

Coach Renan is from São Paulo in Brazil and has played for great youth academies called Portuguesa de Desportos (outdoor e futsal), Taboão da Serra, Rio Claro FC and Juventos. Renan played college in the US for two years at Barton Community College in Kansas before transferring to Faulkner University. At Barton he was All American as sophomore and at Faulkner he was an amazing #10 play maker!
Souza just graduated from Faulkner University majoring in Sports Management as a student assistant on the Eagle’s Men Soccer staff. Sousa is US Soccer (ASA / USYS) and CPR certified.

Coach Victor is from Brazil and has played Futsal all his life in his hometown São Bernardo do Campo, SP before moving to US in 2014. He played college soccer two years at University of the Cumberlands, KY before transferring to Faulkner University in 2016. He ranked Second Team All Conference years 2016 and 2017 while playing for Faulkner University. He has amazing skills!
De Souza just graduated from Faulkner University majoring in Sports Management as a student assistant on the Eagle’s Men Soccer staff. Souza is US Soccer (ASA / USYS) and CPR certified.

Coach Santiago has been working with our U13 Boys for years and now together with Coach Gabi too. His three children have joined the FCM family and they are playing on our U13 Boys and U16/U18 Girls teams.
Santiago started playing soccer at an early age and continued to play organized soccer through college. He has volunteered with various Montgomery organizations, coaching many teams from U8 to U14 age groups over the last 5 years and looks forward to continuing to help develop our local young players. Gonzales is US Soccer (ASA / USYS) certified.
Santiago has been happily married to Amy for 18 years and has three amazing children, Alexa (15), Molly (12) and Caleb (10). Family is very important but more importantly is the chance to serve with his family in their church and other outreach ministries in our community.

Coach David does an outstanding job working with our youngest outdoor team (U9 Coed) and also leads our U12 Outdoor Girls assisted by coach Trey. He has coached/managed soccer teams for multiple local organizations for the last six years.
David is a native to Montgomery, but currently lives in the Redland community of Wetumpka. He grew up playing multiple sports including football, baseball, soccer, wrestling and track. He was a 3-sport all state athlete in High School and went on to play football at Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY. Forbus is US Soccer (ASA / USYS) and CPR certified.
He has been married to his wife Debbie for 20 years and their daughters Molly (10) and Mary Grayson (6) play for FCM. Faith and Family are his foundation. He believes in serving his community and has recently been named Volunteer of the Year for a local non-profit organization.

Coach Ben is entering his fourth season with FCM U10 Boys as Travis’ assistant after coaching local youth indoor soccer for the past 5 years.
He graduated college from Southeastern University in Lakeland Florida with a B.S. in Church Ministries w/ Youth Concentration & Minor in Psychology.
Russell is the Director of Alabama Youth Alive & The 7 Project (motivational school assemblies for high school & junior high schools).
Coach Ben has been married to Terra for 13 years and they have two children – Knox (8) a current FCM U9 player & Anna (3) a future FCM’r.

Coach Matt was born & raised in Atlanta, GA and started his soccer career in Decatur, GA. After high school Tarpley went to King College in Bristol, TN to continue his athletic career. After college he started coaching soccer along side his other main job and now he has been involved with the game for over 20 years. He believes that Soccer is truly a “beautiful game.”
Tarpley teaches at Park Crossing High School and started the Soccer program at the school 5 years ago when the school opened. Coach Matt has been coaching at the club level for years and he is in his first year as an Assistant for the Men’s team at Faulkner University after assisting the Faulkner Ladies last year. Matt is a member of United Soccer Coaches Association and holds USSF diplomas.
He has been married for 17 years and has 3 wonderful children. Currently he lives in Auburn and commutes to Montgomery every day.

Coach Trey is from Birmingham. He played 2 years as a goalkeeper in high school for Park Crossing and 1 year of College Soccer at the University of the District of Columbia before an injury.
St. Clair is currently also the Girls’ Head Coach at Park Crossing High School and the Boys’ Assistant. He is excited and learning a lot as a new addition to our FCM staff.
Trey is helping coaches Bob & Pritchard with our FCM Goalies, assisting David with our U12 Girls and also helping Bruno & Renan with our Futsal program.

Coach Oliver has played soccer since he was a child and coached ages 4-18 over the past 15 years. He has been the head JV and assistant Varsity soccer coach at Trinity Presbyterian School since 2010. Oliver is passionate about developing character, sportsmanship and teaching young people the beauty of the game of soccer.
Oliver was born and raised in Montgomery and graduated from Auburn University in 2004 with a degree in Secondary Education, Social Studies. He moved to Budapest, Hungary for 5 years where he taught a variety of classes and coached Varsity soccer at the International Christian School of Budapest. He met and married his wife, Pamela, in Hungary 12 years ago and has 5 children: Thomas (11), Rebi (10), Charlie(10), Sadie (8), and Joseph(8). He started following the German National Team when Michael Ballack ruled the midfield!

Coach Gui is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has played for youth academy Brazilian 1st division legendary Botafogo (Futsal) and Macaé (Outdoor). Then coming to Faulkner University in 2017 and being a starter since his freshman year. He still has one more season to play in 2020 and hopes to write his name in the history of the program. Mondaini coaches our U10 Boys Red team under his CPT as a new asset to the FCM staff. Gui has a bright future as a FCM coach and sports manager.

Coach Tony is a sports enthusiast with a passion for teaching. Born in Idaho and raised in California, he grew up on a healthy diet of Basketball, Football, and Baseball. It was not until his time at San Diego State University that Coach Tony fostered an unbreakable passion for the sport of Soccer. Within 3 years of playing soccer at the intramural level, he had coached SDSU’s Air Force ROTC team to two Military Cups and three Southern California Trophies, defeating ROTC organizations from six universities, including USC and UCLA. During his continued military service, Coach Tony always found time to participate in competitive travel organizations, playing for the Columbus AFB soccer team, Whiteman AFB softball team, and the Holloman AFB softball team. As a youth servant, he coached 12 soccer, basketball, and baseball teams, garnering a volunteer service award for his support to the New Mexico youth community. Coach Tony’s upbeat attitude and engaging style of coaching provides a great opportunity for current and future FCM players. Marco brings a lot of experience and energy as another new addition to the FCM staff. He is currently the head coach for our U11 Boys Red.

Coach Gabe began playing soccer at an early age. He played club level soccer and continued through college. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida.
Gabe is originally from NC, where he met his wife Grissel and have been happily married for 12 years. Their children Aaron (10) and Allison (5) play for FCM.
Gabe serves actively in the Air Force and has been blessed to have played the beautiful game of “Futbol” with so many men and women across the world. These experiences have brought him a different level of respect for the sport and wants to share all these with the young adults and children of FCM. Castillo is a great new addition to our coaching staff and he is currently assisting Coach Tony with our U11 Red Boys.

Coach Nate plays Soccer for Park Crossing High School as a senior. He played at State Games with our U19 team on the last 2 Summers and is currently on our FCM U19 Travel team for this Fall Season again. Born in Montgomery but lived most of his life in Dothan, AL.
Has been in Rory and became platoon Commander on his 2nd year and was promoted to 2nd lieutenant. Nate said that he was told he is a leader so he is trying his best to live up to it. His quote would be “Believe… and don’t give up.” He also says that it pays off big time to learn from your mistakes, watch Soccer videos and work extra hard. Nate is currently doing an internship training with us and helping with general practices & camps.

Coach Nathan is from Montgomery, AL and has played Soccer for 5 years. He is currently on our FCM U19 team as an attacking midfielder (or wing) and interns with our ECS Soccer partnership. He is very fast and wants to play soccer in college. Nathan is a junior in high school and wants to major in Sports Management in college.

Coach Kenzie has been playing soccer for 12 years and have played for many different clubs since a little girl! Last year she played in the Region Premier League two years above her age group. This Fall Season she will be playing in the Region Premiere League again but in her own age group. For the past two years she has also competed in the Alabama Olympic Development Program – ODP.
Kenzie’s brother, Kobey Stoup, has been called to the USA U14 National Team before and just recently signed to play for the Atlanta United Youth Academy. She wants to play soccer in college and eventually become a full time coach. She says: “I enjoy kids so much and I’m so happy to able to share what I love with them!” Kenzie helps us in many of our camps.
